Cuco  name Omar Banos is better known by his stage name CUCO, who was born September 30, 1998. CUCO is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter from Hawthorne, California.  CUCO was born in Inglewood, CA and raised in Hawthorne.  Omar Banos is the only child of immigrant parents from Mexico.  CUCO his stage name is a Spanish pronunciation, his mother used to call him when he was little by the name cuckoo which comes from Spanish.  CUCO started playing guitar at the age of 8 and wrote songs when he was 11, but CUCO didn't start recording until he was 15.  Between 2014 and 2015, CUCO used the moniker Heavy Trip and wrote Psychedelic music.  Then he started writing more Pop genre and decided to change his name to CUCO.
